Tri-Parish Mission 2017

Save the date for our Tri-Parish Mission on March 27-29, 2017. This is a 3-day mission sponsored by the tri-parish cluster of St. Lawrence, St. Peter, and Resurrection Catholic Parishes. Our speaker, Abbot Nicholas of Holy Resurrection Monastery in Naninz, WI, will be giving three different talks, three different days (same talk in the morning as in the evening per day).

You can listen to Abbot's talk each day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) at 9:00 AM after 8:00 AM Mass as well as 7:00 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Hartford, WI. We hope that you join us to increase your spiritual journey this Lent. RSVP on our Facebook Event!

Lent 2017 - Weekend Homily Topics

Join us for our weekend Mass times and get spiritually fed! Father Rick and Deacon Bob have mapped out their homilies for Lent and want to share their homily topics with you.

March 4-5, 2017 – Satan tempts Jesus 3 times; we’re subject to at least as many, pornography, bullying, opiate & alcohol abuse, to name a few; how He overcame His shows us how to overcome ours!

March 11-12, 2017 – Atop a mountain with 3 disciples, Jesus is shown to them in His glory; we begin to use the New Rite for Celebrating Matrimony this spring; it will help reveal the glory of married life and love; it’s not just a wedding anymore, but truly a sacrament!

March 18-19, 2017 – At a well the Samaritan woman talks to Jesus and gets to know Him better; take the 1% challenge and get to know Jesus better yourself – we’ll bet you’re thirsty, too!

March 25-26, 2017 – A man blind from birth calls out to Jesus and gets his sight; at our Parish Mission (March 27-29), we will learn the “Jesus Prayer,” how to call out to Him from our blindness and see more things His way!

April 1-2, 2017 – Lazarus is raised from the dead; our Catholic burial and funeral practices proclaim what we believe and hope; a share promised in Christ’s Resurrection, and seeing God forever, face to face!
