FuneralAfter Care Ministers

St. Peter’s has 3 well trained, qualified persons serving as After Care Ministers. They provide one-to-one confidential, caring ministry to anyone experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, or other life difficulties. They work under the direction of Fr. Rick and Arlene Barron, Parish Nurse to help with follow up after funerals. If you would like to talk with one of the After Care Ministers on the phone or in person, you may call them.

Bereavement Committee

The Bereavement Committee attends visitation and assists at funeral Masses and Memorial Services of St. Peter Parish members to extend support to the family and to offer prayers of consolation. Bereavement gatherings are hosted by the group throughout the year for all coping with loss.

Funeral Luncheon

Prepare and serve lunch or cake and coffee after funeral Masses. No formal meetings and new volunteers are always welcomed.
